My Dad (DND fan)

My dad is a weird topic, when I came out as bi he was very accepting. The problem is he doesn't have many opinions on LGBTQIA+.

One time we were on a walk together and he said a saying to me, I can't remember what it was but it was gendered as male, euphoria has entered the chat. He corrected the saying to female pronouns, I felt really sad. However after thinking for a bit he turned around and said "person we'll go with person". I swear I almost ducking cried.

He also once made a joke about pronouns and I couldn't tell whether it was a joke with good intent or not. My mum, a very obvious transphobe asked me to get some fruit from the fridge, I found a quiche on the fruit shelf and asked why. My dad said "because it identifies as fruit".

I walked into his office once (he is in the house because of Corona) and he was watching big mouth season 4, and if you didn't know it features a trans women, he didn't look like he cared that the character was trans, the show also helps people understand dysphoria. Maybe he has begun to see that I may be trans, or maybe he just wants to be more open about it. Either way he has made me feel very euphoric, so when I come out I'll remember to thank him, (p.s he watches shows while working)
