Figuring out that your FTM

07/01/2021

Figuring out that your trans is very hard, and it comes to a point of which I personally would get panic attacks and would have to del with them alone. To avoid that try telling a trusted person that you want to be called by a certain name, or by he/him pronouns if it makes you happy and you prefer it then hop on your happy little way trans town, we'll gladly welcome you. If it makes you feel uncomfortable then maybe your using the wrong pronouns or name try out different things until you get the one you feel most comfortable with.

Other ways to help is to try and bind for the first time, it acts as a confirmation for whether you prefer a flat chest or not. Some times even dysphoria can help, try just looking in the mirror and seeing if you can imagen yourself as a different gender. Small things like looking at your room and getting dysphoria is probably a confirmation of you being trans. Another thing to note is that if you only get mild dysphoria, like looking in the mirror and sighing, it doesn't mean you aren't trans so try looking into yourself more. I found that as i got older and began to get more social dysphoria got worse because I was always thinking do they think i look like a girl, and most likely they didn't it is very rare that what someone thinks about you is the same as what you dysphoria is telling you, if it really worries out ask, it's important to get other peoples opinions and them tell you what is making them think you as not he/him.
